Hi Cliff

You're the second person to encounter these difficulties tonight. Places are still available and entries aren't supposed to close until 2355hrs tonight. I'd rather not do entries on the day but if you want a place, please email me all the requisite entry details, tonight if possible, and I'll enter them manually and take payment pin the day.

Firstly, thank you to everyone who has offered to give up their time to help at our event on Sunday.

There has been a good response with 18 entrants for the road bike TT and 37 for the TT bike race. Six individuals (including two of our own) have entered both events - good luck Unsure . A number of other club members have entered individual races.

The Race HQ will be at Farr Community Hall, Inverarnie and we have access from 0900hrs which provides sufficient time to set the place up. Sign-on / registration opens at 1030hrs and will close 20 minutes before racing starts (1200hrs). Racing should conclude around 1340hrs after which the prize giving will take place. All being well, we should be clear around 1500hrs.

The following club members have volunteered to help out. Alongside each name is a provisionally assigned role and a requested start time at the hall.

Phil Thompson - Signage / racer (as required)
Dave Stuart - Signage / racer (as required)
Sally Clarkson - Catering Coordinator / racer (as required)
Joe Reilly - Catering (as directed by Sally)
Fiona Barrett - First Aid (1000hrs)
Pennie Latin - Sign-on / Registration (1015hrs)
Alastair Kinghorn - Sign-on / Registration (1015hrs)
Sarah Shaw - 2nd Timekeeper (as required)
Donald Peterkin - Recorder (as required)
Doug Low - Course marshal at hall entrance (1100hrs)
James Hitchmough - Course marshal at turn point (1100hrs)
Angus Morrison - Course marshal at turn point (1100hrs)
Donna Chisholm - Course marshal at Croachy east (1100hrs)
Graeme Jarvis - Course marshal at Croachy west (1100hrs)
Antonio Vacca - Start / Finish marshal and back-up Pusher Off (1100hrs)

Yellow jackets will be available at the hall and must be worn at all times when out and about on the course and also the route to and from the start / finish point. Please take note of the weather and dress accordingly. Midge repellent is also advised - just in case! Refreshments will be available at the hall after racing concludes.

If there are any issues now or nearer the time with any of the foregoing please get in touch as soon as possible.

Would be useful for Angus and I to have a copy of the final start lists on the day so we can check off riders at the turn.

Hi Kirsteen, Joe and Bex,

Thanks so much for your catering help offers , we will be a great team. The first finished competitors will be arriving around 12.30 so Ill be arriving at the hall at 11 , so if you arrive around 11 to 11.30 we will have plenty time to set up and get the urn on. There will be a few sandwiches to make but not as many as last time because both Sarah and I are making most in advance.

I'm still needing a lift please, I live in Holm Avenue. My wife, Rosemary will have the car. Cheers.

Massive thanks to Derek for organising and all the marshals, caterers and other volunteers at today’s TT. Great event even if my les are still screaming!! Next time I might consider a taper week! 🤣
