Afternoon all,
I'm looking for some route suggestions. I've just got my 9 year old a road bike which he is enthusiastic about. Just looking for suggestions on where to go. Ideally fairly quiet roads and not too technical. Maybe about 15-20k to start with. He's fairly decent going up hills having managed Balloch first time, although needs to build confidence going down them (better to start that day and build up to your limit!)
If it helps we're in Culloden although at least can drive a bit to start somewhere else and avoid busier central roads.
Thanking you all in advance
Neil

Hello Neil
I would say that most of the roads which run along the Black Isle would be suitable for such learning rides.
( the busier roads would be ok outside of peak traffic periods as well).

Obviously I'm not suggesting that you break the government's coronavirus 5 mile guidelines ☺

Thanks Iain. I'm sure I could get to the black isle in 5 miles to start a ride. I'll have a look at rides over there now!
