ICC Sunday Club Ride.

Please note that due to Covid-19, this ride is restricted to club members only.

Members must not attend a ride if they have Covid-19 symptoms, have someone in their household who does, are in the extremely vulnerable category, or if they have been asked to remain at home by the Scottish Government Test protect system or are subject to foreign travel quarantine restrictions.

The ride will be run in accordance with the club Covid-19 protocol which has been circulated to all members. Please read it carefully as health, safety and wellbeing is paramount. The additional rules arising from Level 4 arrangements also now apply (see separate post).

The route will be over the Kessock Bridge out to Tore and then to a takeaway stop at Rosemarkie, returning via the Killen Road, Culbokie, Muir of Ord, Beauly and Clachnaharry. The distance is approximately 56 miles. The route can be accessed from the link below and also from the club Strava account. The weather forecast points to cool but sunny day.

Meet at the Fairways Roundabout just off the Distributor Road at 0950hrs for a 1000hrs departure. Please ensure social distancing guidelines are observed.

Owing to Covid-19, more time is needed to plan club activities so this ride will close at 11pm on Saturday evening. Please only post if you are definitely coming along. Anyone posting after that or turning up without posting will not be allowed to take part.

Note: as we are only permitted a takeaway food stop, can you please include your food and drink order in your reply so I can email the group order to the Crofters Cafe tonight.

Lastly, remember to carry an appropriate means to cover your face and sanitise your hands

Morning

Due to snow and ice, today's club ride has been cancelled.

Weather permitting, we will try and put on a New Year's day ride on Friday along with the usual club ride next Saturday.
