Sunday 9 January 2022

Please note that due to Covid-19, this ride is restricted to club members only.

Members should only attend club rides if they feel safe doing so
Anyone with Covid Symptoms must not attend any ride, even if negative on Lateral Flow Test.
Prior to each ride each rider should perform a Lateral Flow Test and only join a ride if they have a negative result and no symptoms.

The ride will be run in accordance with the club COVID-19 protocol and also Mark's COVID update posted on the 9th August.

The route can be found at https://www.strava.com/routes/2913765944852077152 distance approx 45 miles.

Café stop will be at Highland Farm Cafe, Old Evanton Road, Dingwall. The route will go in a clockwise direction and will finish beside the stadium where folks will go their separate ways depending on where they live. As always there are options to extend for those that want to.

The weather forecast at the moment is cold and mixed. Please keep an eye on this forum and your emails for any changes.

Owing to COVID-19, more time is needed to plan club activities and formulate groups so this ride will be closed at 7pm on Friday evening. Anyone posting after that or turning up without posting will not be allowed to take part. One or two 'hedgers' are starting to reappear so please only post when you know for definite that you're coming along. If unsure, wait until late Saturday afternoon.

Meet at Fairways roundabout just off the distributor road at 0850hrs for an 0900hrs departure sharp.

Please also remember to carry an appropriate means to cover your face and sanitise your hands

Lastly, riders should ensure their bikes are mechanically sound before attending a club ride and that the following minimum spares / tools are carried.

2x inner tubes
2x Co2 canisters (& dispenser) or appropriate hand pump
adhesive patches
Multi tool
Quick link (appropriate for your chain speed)
Tyre levers
Chain tool (often part of a multi tool)
