Well done to the riders on a very challenging evening; it was blowing a hoolley making the slight uphill stretch outbound very tough 💨 🚴♂️

My wife and I are not members as yet. Would we be able to ride the 17th August TT? I have a fairly good idea on the course, but are there any small markings on the road, so we can have try out prior to that date?

Hi Angus, glad to hear you’re both interested in riding the TT and that you’ll both be joining the club soon and then you’ll be good to ride the TT.
There are small white markings; it may be difficult to describe, I’m not able to put photos on here I don’t think, however, the start is slightly further to the east of the finish, the finish is just as you pass the Brin junction. We will hopefully have volunteers on the night for time keeping, someone to push you off at the start and someone at the turn. We will have a debrief before the start, so I ask for riders / all to be there 6.30 to allow time for this and your warm up.
Looking forward to meeting you both then. I believe Stephen Breuer is our new treasurer, contact him directly for joining the club as you may be able to get a discount for joining half way through the year but I’m not sure when this would be applicable from.
