I am going to the risk the weather and cycle out to Cameron's.

If anyone wants to join me meet at Fairways roundabout just off the Distributor Road at 0850hrs for a 0900hrs departure.

Please remember to bring some cash for refreshments and also post if you plan to come along.

Mike

Cycled out to Foyers yesterday, top road out and low road home. It was passable just but pretty dodgy in a few places. Not sure after the rain today what possible further damage there may be.
If I could post photos I took I would.
I'm going to wait till the morning to see what I do.

Hope to be there; definitely won't be on the new bike though!

I drove out to Foyers along the lochside today with the Mrs (yes I know, why didnt I cycle out!), and there was quite a lot of council machinery working between dores and inverfarigaig to clear two particularly bad landslips. The road is still being affected by water (and gravel and rocks) runoff and is almost impassible on a road bike at the moment - mostly due to mud on the road. That being said there were a group of 4 guys on road bikes heading back along the lochside from Foyers in the pouring rain, so I assume that they got through OK.

Thanks for the update Alastair; I suppose we could also try top road out, top road back? Not the most exciting route I know, but would at least be a bit safer by the sound of it...

Weather looks fine to me...😊 I should be there, barring work induced disasters...
