Suspension of club rides

Following the changes recently announced by the Scottish Government, Scottish Cycling have confirmed that Level 4 COVID restrictions now extend to club activity for adults. While clearly unfortunate, this is probably not surprising under the circumstances - and all club rides are therefore suspended again until the current situation improves.

“Informal” non-club rides can continue in Level 4 but should be limited to a single household, or a maximum of two people from two households with physical distancing.

The latest SC guidance on informal and club activities, including their protection level overview, is here: https://www.britishcycli...virus-COVID19-Guidance-0

It is of course unclear how long this level of restriction will last, but this will hopefully not be as prolonged as the spring 2020 lockdown – and we'll look to restart club rides as soon as this is possible.

Best wishes,
