Alternative ICC Saturday Club Ride

Please note that due to Covid-19, this ride is restricted to club members only.

Members must not attend a ride if they have Covid-19 symptoms, have someone in their household who does, are in the extremely vulnerable category, or if they have been asked to remain at home by the Scottish Government Test Protect system or are subject to foreign travel quarantine restrictions.

The ride will be run in accordance with the club Covid-19 protocol which has been circulated to all members. I would also draw attention to Mark's "COVID Update" which was posted on the 16th April. Please read both carefully as health, safety and wellbeing is paramount. If anyone has not received their copy, please contact the club secretary.

Saturday's destination is Househill, Nairn. The route will head out via Culloden towards Dulsie Bridge before dropping down towards Nairn. The forecast is for it to be dry but please come prepared for all weathers.

Meet at Fairways roundabout just of the Distributor Road at 0920hrs for a 0930hrs departure. Please ensure social distancing guidelines are observed.

Owing to Covid-19, more time is needed to plan club activities so this ride will be closed at 7pm on Friday evening. Anyone posting after that or turning up without posting will not be allowed to take part.

Post only if you are committed to coming along. Those who hedge their intentions with phrases such as "probably", "hoping to" or "maybe" should refrain from posting anything until such time as they've made their mind up. Also, a coffee fine may be imposed on anyone who clutters the post by telling us they can't come along as they've got something better to do.

Please remember to carry an appropriate means to cover your face and sanitise your hands as per the protocol.
Lastly riders should ensure their bikes are mechanically sound before attending a club ride and that the following minimum spares / tools are carried.

2x inner tubes
2x Co2 canisters (& dispenser) or appropriate hand pump
adhesive patches
Multi tool
Quick link (appropriate for your chain speed)
Tyre levers
Chain tool (often part of a multi tool)

Personal first aid kit.

Looking forward to seeing you all BigGrin
Fiona
