Are you confident in what to do if someone came off their bike while riding with you?
Do you know if someone is safe to get back on their bike after falling off?

Accidents and injuries can happen to any of us and to anyone riding with us.
Knowing what to do and how to assess someone may be one of the most important skills you can learn.
After all, we all hope if we were the unlucky one to come off, the person closest to hand would be confident to know what to do.

The ICC are running a Sports Injury First Aid course and opening this up to interested club members.

Dates are yet to be set and so if you are interested, put your name forward in this forum post or direct message me. Feel free to get in touch if you have any more queries or questions of what it means to be a first aider.

The training will last a full day from 9am-5pm and we plan to hold it on a Sunday to work around our regular rides.

If interested, please let me know if there are any Sunday's in June or July you would be unable to attend and I can try to work around these dates with St Andrews First Aid.

Claire

Hi,
definitely interested but not available 4th of June and probably none in July. Have done a couple of work related first aid courses in the past but well out of date now.
Thanks.
