1st race of the cx season will.be at muir of ord on 18th Sept.

Would anyone be interested in skills coaching on the run up to the start of the season?
Cx is a great leveller, its not the fastest that wins (it does help to have good legs!) but those with the handling skills do better!

All you need is a cx, gravel or mtb.

4 sessions of learning skills and 5th session to put all together, each session is approx 45 to 60 mins, (allow 90 mins for chat, warmups and briefing)
I can do either 5 short sessions, (90 mins each), over a few sundays or week nights starting mid to end July, or we could have a dedicated day and fit all in early to mid august.

Any interest or thoughts?
Alan

Hi Alan,

Thanks for sharing.
One of my goals for the year is entering a race. I would be very much interested in learning some more skills.
I have a cyclocross bike with cantilever brakes. Do wonder whether I have the right tyres for a race but I can change them.

Best,

Remy

I'm interested in skills training. I have a gravel bike with 2 sets of wheels: dry or wey/muddy, but my handling skills definately need developed. MoCool

Thanks Alan. I’d be interested in developing skills and also hearing more about CX racing as I could perhaps could be tempted to enter.
I could do either evenings or Sundays. Preferably avoiding a Tuesday evening if possible given the gravel ride is on then. But not a problem if that worked out to be the most suitable time.
Thanks again.

Looking to get one or 2 coach sessions sessions in before the CX at muir of ord,
got a few folk interested, so we need to pick a date and time pronto!

For me the best evenings next week would be Tues 30th or Wed 31st. Was thinking 6pm'ish at Merkinch reserve.
I am free weekday evenings except 1st, 2nd Sept
I can also do the afternoon of Sun 4th

Whats best for you guys?

Alan
